The Consulting team works with world’s best-known large domestic and global: financial institutions, broker-dealers, foreign banking organizations, asset management and insurance companies, who trusted us to assist them with large scale transformation program delivery challenges.

The opportunity:

This is a role withing Digital Banking team in DET (Digital Emerging technologies) Technology Consulting.

This role is accountable for running wide spectrum of projects focused on financial sector.

She/He will closely cooperate with other team members and will actively participate in business development process as well as will be responsible for Project Management activities.

Your key responsibilities

  • Project management including proposals for project strategies, planning, definition of tasks and deliverables, quality control, risk analysis and management, status reports, budget control, problem reporting and management systems, follow up and organization.
  • Guide project activities and review deliverables as applicable.
  • Influence and negotiate project outcomes, often across multiple functions. Prepare and present analysis, insights and recommendations to assist defined governance forums and senior client stakeholders with decision making
  • Prepare and maintain projects and quality plans and tracks activities against the plan, provide regular and accurate reports.
  • Maintain focus so that projects deliver on key priorities and dependencies and are managed to realize business benefits to agreed timelines
  • Estimate costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project to agreed terms of reference.
  • Identify and advise on project level decisions that influence significant project direction and escalate decisions that cannot be resolved to the agreed governance forums
  • Participate in functional and technical working groups and progress meetings, collaborate effectively with project stakeholders in Waterfall or Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Monitor costs, timescales and resources used, and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensure that delivered systems/solutions are implemented within these criteria.
  • Manage the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project sponsors.
  • Drive new business/project opportunities, cooperate with other relevant teams in EY, organizes and run task groups.


To qualify for the role you must have

  • University degree in a relevant subject (preferably Computer Science or Economy/Banking).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Technology/Banking Project Management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong record of projects completed preferably in Financial Sector
  • Willingness to learn and continuously expand technical and business skills
  • Ability to build relationships with EY’s Clients
  • Project management, productivity, planning and workload management skills
  • Do not afraid to make decisions and have “problem solving” attitude
  • Experience in Consulting will be an asset


Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office especially MS PowerPoint
  • Knowledge on project management & Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of tools like Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence or similar
  • Excellent communication skills in order to interact with a range of stakeholders
